A feast of flowers down the lane
enjoying sunlight, drinking rain
Do any of these seem to be
A reflection of the traits in me

The Daisies bend with wind's delight
Simple, playful petals white
Sunny, happy trading stories
With Daffodils and Morning Glories.

The roses lift their regal bloom
And scent the air with sweet perfume
The Zinnias and Forget-me-nots
Are cozy in their garden pots

But one little flower in the garden bed
Lies understated and instead
of being dainty - it's sure and bold
The resilient little Marigold
