Pear

Pear

Ahhh ... amore.

If ever there was a truly romantic film created, for me it must be the BBC presentation of Jane Austin's Pride and Prejudice. I dare say there is no man finer to play the role than Mr. Colin Firth. And, although I now do have the luxury of several channels, they interest me little next to viewing the beauty and strength and righteousness of Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy - chivalrous and magnificently presented in britches and tailed coats and top hat.

What I wouldn't give for 'an unexpected meeting at Pemberley' with Mr. Darcy.

Does this only ever happen in the movies ??

Lovely painting. It's so funny to see others painting the same subjects and think, "Well, these red pears must be just coming in to grocery stores all over the U.S." I painted one yesterday myself!
