Parcheesi

Parcheesi • this painting is sold

I love to play games. We were brought up on games and spent many hours at the card table. One of my favorite games is 'Anagrams' - which many people have never heard of. It's a game of word skill. Each tile has a letter on it and you face all of the tiles letter down. You can play with two or more persons. Each participant picks a letter and puts it face up in the middle. Whoever has a letter closes to A goes first. You make words (no less than three letters) and can steal words from your opponents by adding a letter and changing the root word.

Example: If you picked up an S and your opponent had the word 'reap'. You could add the S, change the order of the letters and make 'spare'. Then, say someone picked up an 'C', they could change it to 'spacer' etc. etc. etc. It's a great game and you always get better every time you play. I always buy the vintage games on Ebay ... to me, the classics are the still the best.

If you would like to purchase a 6" x 6" oil painting on stretched canvas that you see on this site, or commission a painting that is special to you, please email me.

These paintings are priced at $100.00 plus s/h.
