Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chocolate Chip Cookies

My Mother called her Chocolate Chip cookies 'Toll House'. I'm not sure why, but I'll have to check up on the meaning via Google.

We baked Toll House and Moons and Thumbprints with Jelly. After they came out from the oven, we'd bend the baking sheets and pop the cookies onto a brown paper bag that had been cut open to enlarge it. Oh .... how the house would fill with the aroma of cookies.

Those were the very sweet days of Christmas.

If you would like to purchase a 6" x 6" oil painting on stretched canvas that you see on this site, or commission a painting that is special to you, please email me.
