Well today I found the sweetest cat ever!! My sister Karen and I stopped at the local Animal Shelter JUST to take a look -- at the dogs. We're thinking that maybe our Father would like a little buddy to keep him company ... perhaps a little Dachshund .... but then I saw this gorgeous rich colored deep dark chocolate fur with reddish gold highlights, dark eyeliner framing gold-green clear eyes ... and white under her nose and chin. She's beautiful ... and the sweetest little girl you'd ever want to meet. She didn't get off of our laps for an hour ... wanting just to be pet on her back and her belly.

Tomorrow we're taking our Father to meet her ... and maybe, just maybe he'll be taking home a lovely little new friend to keep him company. They'd be good for each other .... two sweethearts ...
