About Me
“To paint, to create art, to lose myself in the moment.....that is what drives me, thrills me. To put down my brush and stand back and say, Yes!, it has been a good day”. In August of 2006, I joined the prolific daily painters painting a 6" x 6" oil painting each day. I recently started a blog featuring my larger works. Please feel free to contact me for comment or purchase information. I do look forward to hearing from You! www.annelizabethschlegel.com info@annelizabethschlegel.com

So I'm not the only artist with a bottle of this stuff hanging around the studio. For some reason, there's been one right beside my easel for the longest time and I dont remember why.
You expect someone to pay $100 for a 6x6 painting of a glue bottle? amazing
Thank you both for your comments.
Also, Mr. or Mrs. Anonymous, why yes, I'm hoping that someone would be most anxious to give this painting a home for just a modest sum of $100.00.
Were you implying that it should cost more?
:-)
"How rude" were the first words out of my mouth after reading anonymous' comment.I am an artist and retired high school art teacher of 35 great years. I am having such a hard time getting started and staying disciplined with my painting. With all of my "free" time there shouldn't be a problem. I have great family support as well, but I can't even imagine how Ann Elizabeth Schlegel can be so disciplined and so good, keeping a sense of humor (obviously something else lacking in the person who made the "anonymous" comment, and stayng true to her calling, gift and talent. I just can't imagine. I have never commented before, nor have I ever seen this artist's work before last night when I was looking for inspiration and was "lead" to this artists work. I love it and what you do, Ann. I shared it all with my husband and he said, "So will you be trying to do this?" My comment was "I only wish. I will start in the morning." This morning, I researched your website more thoroughly and ran into the "comments" post. I just was moved to write. Sorry to be so wordy, and take up so much space. I just couldn't help myself. I still say, "How rude!" With sincere appreciation of you and your work. Thank you for sharing yourself with the world. Yours truly, Cherie
