Granny Smith Apple 1

I was strolling through the grocery store today ... I'm the one who always brings the 'Green Bean Casserole' for the holiday dinners, and there before me was a pyramid of beautiful green Granny Smith apples. Green like spring buds on a tree. Of course I placed one in my cart.

The weather was so mysterious today.... we had snow showers, very heavy with dense flakes, while the sun was out .... then, when the showers stopped, the snow evaporated off the pavement like smoke ... in ghostly shapes. I've never seen anything like it. It was hauntingly beautiful.
